Mosaic Art Day

Mosaic Art Day

30 July 2021

30 July 2021

Join artist Ann-Marie James at this informal drop-in session and create artwork inspired by Roman mosaics in the Museum’s Victorian Hall.

Families and visitors of all ages are welcome.

With guidance from Ann-Marie, help create a giant rubbing of one of our mosaics, or make smaller rubbings and pin your work on our display boards for others to see. Try some mindful colouring or create your own mosaic design.

Why not try out our Mosaic trail during your visit, or visit Alchemy – an exhibition of artwork by Ann-Marie James, inspired by archaeology objects from the museums in the Wessex Museum partnership.
