COVID Policy

Dorset Museum accepts its responsibilities for premises and sites operating during the Coronavirus Covid-19 pandemic need to ensure they are protecting their workforce and minimising the risk of spread of infection. This policy is intended to introduce consistent measures in premises and sites of all sizes in line with the Government’s recommendations on social distancing.

This policy gives guidance on the management of volunteers, and for volunteers themselves who are undertaking work, programmes or projects for or on behalf of the Dorset Natural History and Archaeological Society (DHNAS) and its Museum.

The purpose of the document is to outline safeguarding procedures to ensure the safety of all children, young people and vulnerable adults that come into contact with the Dorset Natural History and Archaeological Society (DNHAS) and the Dorset Museum.
