Supporting the Museum
Supporting the Museum
Dorset Museum relies on the fantastic work of our volunteers and generous support of individuals, charitable trusts, Arts Council England, the National Lottery Heritage Fund and other grantmakers.
The Museum is an independent charity earning income from visitors’ admission fees, membership, shop and café sales and hire of the Museum’s beautiful spaces for private events. We do not receive any regular government subsidy to fund our core costs.
You can help the Museum in so many ways – by working with us, volunteering your time, becoming a member or making a donation. You might also want to consider leaving a gift to the Museum in your will.
Thank you.
