Museum after hours

Quiet Open Evening

22 September 2022, 5:00pm - 6:30pm

Quiet opening for adults.

Join us for this free quiet opening for adults between 5-6.30pm, where sound will be switched off in our exhibition galleries. The event is particularly suitable for neurodivergent adults and those with other sensory challenges, but any adult who would prefer quiet to explore the galleries is welcome. The number of tickets available will be limited to ensure the galleries are not too crowded.

Please note in case it is likely to impact your visit: There is a talk in the Museum’s Victorian Hall starting at 7pm, with attendees arriving from around 6.30pm.
