Free Wedding Fair returns to Dorset Museum & Art Gallery this April
March 6, 2024
On Sunday 14 April 2024, between 11:00am and 3:00pm, join us at Dorset Museum & Art Gallery for our annual Wedding Fair.
This year, things will be slightly different – the Fair has been revamped to blend stalls showcasing wedding suppliers from around the county and live demonstrations to give you a real sense of what is possible for your special day.
As you walk around the Victorian Hall accompanied by music and speaking to a selection of venue decorators, photographers, florists and caterers, you will also be able to see examples of dressed tables and chairs and a fashion show visualising potential wedding clothing, hair and makeup.
The Wedding Fair is designed to give you a chance to explore the venue and think about how it could be transformed and tailored to suit your style and needs as well as giving you a list of potential suppliers. Acting almost like a visible checklist of the building blocks for your wedding day – you never know, you may leave with items ticked off your to-do list!
It will be a dynamic and immersive experience where you can put your wedding planning hat on, but also have a bit of fun too as there is no pressure or obligation to make any decisions on the day.
With experience holding a variety of events from small conferences to large parties, you will also be able to meet the Events Team who are here to assist you on your wedding planning journey and are committed to delivering the perfect day for every couple. Our new pricing structure means that the dressing of the Victorian Hall is included in the price, helping you to make your dreams a reality.
This is a free event, bookings are encouraged, but walk-ins are also welcome. For more information and to book your place, visit our website.
