Solidarity with Ukraine

Dorset Museum stands in solidarity with the people of Ukraine and supports them in their fight to preserve their independence.
As museum workers, we support recent statements condemning the conflict by the International Council of Museums and the UK Museums Association, and share concerns regarding cultural heritage at risk:
- ICOM – Statement concerning the Russian invasion into Ukraine
- Museum Association – Our statement on the invasion of Ukraine
We extend a hand of friendship and support to all our fellow museum, library and archive colleagues who are working to protect and salvage Ukrainian heritage currently at threat.
We hope the conflict is resolved soon and peacefully.
